Creating Extracts

Our API allows users to submit and manage their data extract requests (including requests that have been submitted via our web applications). With these features a user can request, monitor the status of, and retrieve an extract request without ever needing to visit an IPUMS website.

See example code showing how to use the API to work with IPUMS microdata data collections (IPUMS USA, CPS, International, ATUS, AHTUS, MTUS, MEPS, and NHIS) and IPUMS NHGIS data extract requests.
